If concerns about your Fitness to Practise are being considered, you should have an opportunity to understand the concern and provide your account.
Context can be important.
This might include:
- what happened;
- why it happened;
- what you have learned;
- your understanding of the professional concern;
- steps you have already taken;
- support you are receiving;
- relevant personal circumstances;
- evidence of changed behaviour;
- reasonable adjustments;
- other information you believe should be considered.
Having a concern raised about you is not the same as a finding that you are not fit to practise.
