In some circumstances, the University may be able to consider short-term accommodation support where a student is experiencing an urgent housing crisis.
This is not automatically available and will depend upon:
- the urgency of your situation;
- your safety and vulnerability;
- what other accommodation is available to you;
- whether University accommodation is available;
- your longer-term housing options;
- affordability;
- whether temporary accommodation is likely to help resolve the situation.
Where short-term University-funded accommodation is considered, this is intended to provide breathing space while a sustainable housing plan is developed.
It is not normally intended to provide a permanent housing solution.
