If you have nowhere safe to stay tonight, tell us this when you contact us.
There is an important difference between experiencing housing difficulties and having no safe accommodation available at all.
We may need to understand:
- where you stayed last night;
- where you expect to stay tonight;
- whether you can safely remain there;
- whether you are sleeping rough;
- whether you are moving between friends or family;
- whether you have been asked to leave;
- whether you are fleeing abuse, violence or exploitation;
- whether you have children or dependants with you;
- whether you have any additional support or safeguarding needs.
This helps us understand how urgent your situation is and what support may be appropriate.
