If you use opioids, or are supporting someone who does, specialist services can provide information about naloxone, a medicine used to temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose while emergency help is obtained.
You may be able to access naloxone and appropriate training through local drug and alcohol services or participating pharmacies.
Naloxone does not replace calling 999 in an overdose.
