That's okay.

Sometimes several things are happening at once.

You might be struggling with your mental health and your studies.

You might have money difficulties and be worried about losing your accommodation.

Something that started as a relationship problem may have become a safeguarding concern.

You do not need to work out the University's structure before asking for help.

Tell us what is happening and we can help identify the right support.

Support Is Not Only for a Crisis

One of the most important messages we want students to know is:

You can ask for help early.

You do not have to wait until:

  • you have stopped attending;
  • you have failed an assessment;
  • you have run out of money;
  • you have lost your accommodation;
  • your mental health has reached crisis point;
  • a situation has become unsafe.

Getting support early can give you more options.

In an Emergency

Report and Support and the University's routine support services are not emergency services.

If there is an immediate risk to life or someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

For non-emergency University support, use the links above to find the service that best fits what is happening.
