There isn't one right response after a frightening or distressing incident.

Depending on what has happened, you might choose to:

Contact Security

If you need help on campus.

Call 999

If somebody is in immediate danger.

Contact the police

If you want to report a crime.

Talk to Safeguarding

If you are worried about your safety or somebody else's.

Use Report and Support

To tell the University about an incident and explore your support and reporting options.

Seek medical help

If you are injured, unwell, or concerned about spiking or sexual violence.

You do not have to make every decision immediately.
