If you are having thoughts about suicide, wishing you were not here, thinking about self-harm, or simply feeling that life has become difficult to manage, please tell someone.
You do not need to wait until you believe you are in crisis.
At the University of Wolverhampton, we treat suicidal thoughts and self-harm as safeguarding concerns and take them seriously whenever they are expressed.
Our approach is based on compassion, hope, early intervention and practical safety planning. The University’s suicide-prevention work has been recognised nationally as an example of a whole-population approach to suicide and self-harm mitigation.
